Born in Cape Coral, FL Seth Petruzelli started his martial arts journey at age 6 training in traditional karate-do. He attained his second-degree black belt at age 12 and by 18 years old had national and world karate titles under his belt. Being an accomplished high school wrestler, he started pro MMA fighting at age 20. Seth moved to Orlando in 2000 to attend UCF, start Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and train for his pro MMA career. During his 15-year MMA career he fought for the biggest organizations in the world. Staring on season 2 of The Ultimate Fighter, defeating his childhood MMA hero’s like Dam Severn for the King of the Cage title and Ricco Rodriguez for Bellator. He’s competed live on PPV for the UFC, Bellator, K1 and infamously KO’ing Kimbo Slice live on CBS in the most watched MMA fight in history. All the while he was getting his B.S. in psychology from UCF and being awarded his 2nd strip black belt in De La Riva Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Seth was most recently awarded his San-Dan (third degree) black belt in 2019 in Shito-ryu karate-do. Seth attributes all of his success in life to Karate and the virtues it instilled. He is the current owner of The Jungle MMA and Fitness, 2 locations that are the largest and most highly sought-after facilities for martial arts in central Florida. He also recently opened a 3rd gym, a traditional dojo for the karate he holds so dear. Seth also color commentates for numerous MMA organizations around the country. His lifelong journey in martial arts will never end, and he hopes to bring others the joy it has brought him.
